Q:Can Mes Bons Amis™ Shampoos be used on cats and dogs as well as other small pets?
A:Yes, our shampoos are safe for dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs and rabbits.

Are Mes Bons Amis™ products safe for puppies and kittens?
Yes, once they have reached three months. Before three months, bathing pets is not advised.
Can pets with wounds be bathed with shampoo?
Keep all shampoos out of wounds. If shampoo or other cleansing products come in contact with open wounds, flush with water. Only vets should prescribe treatments for pets with open sores or wounds.
When bathing a pet, is shampoo safe if it gets in their eyes.
Keep all shampoos out of pets’ eyes. If shampoo comes in contact with a pets eyes, immediately flush with lots of running water, just as you would your own. Redness may occur briefly.
What method is best to apply cream treatments to a pets’ red, dry or “hot” spots?
When using Mes Bons Amis™ cream treatments, first remove an amount of cream no larger than the size of a “pea.” Rub it between your thumb and index finger, then rub gently right onto the dry or irritated spot until fully covered and no cream is visible.
For a cat that is frantically afraid of sprayers, how can sprayed on solutions be applied?
Out of the pet’s sight, spray the product onto several pieces of rough paper towel. Use the moistened paper towel to gently give the cat a massage. The product will be picked up by their fur. Follow by brushing or combing the fur to spread the solution throughout the cat’s coat and skin. Your pet will not realize a treatment has even been given.
Which Mes Bons Amis™ product should be used for pets that are constantly scratching?
First determine the reason your pet is scratching; there are two possibilities: Does it have dry skin? If so, use the following two products at regular bath time: Derm-Moisturizing Medicated Shampoo and follow with Leave-On Conditioner. Does it have allergies due to sensitive skin? If so, use Medicated Shampoo with Leave-On Moisturizer once a week.
How does all-natural Mes Bons Amis™ flea treatments (Pencil or Spray) keep fleas off pets?
Ours does not contain the typical irritating and allergy causing ingredients found in pet store and super market products. We use a unique, and above all, harmless blend of natural oils which repel fleas and other pests with the scent; the essential oils remain on the pets skin with no ill effect whatsoever.
Is there a way to untangle clumped hair on long-haired cats as opposed to cutting off matted or hopelessly tangled clumps?
Use Mes Bons Amis™ Gentle Conditioner. Measure out one teaspoon full, add to 16 oz. of warm tap water in a clean or new spray bottle. Shake well, and again before each use. Spray onto the tangled area and comb out. Continued use helps to eliminate further problems.
Which shampoo and conditioner are best for puppies and kittens?
Before pets develop any type of skin problems, and to prevent future problems, it’s recommended to use the gentlest Mes Bons Amis™ products on young pets (three months old or more): Hypoallergenic Shampoo and Leave-On Moisturizer as directed at regular bath times.
